Chalice tank

Go with a bare bottom setup and let the chalices spread on the bottom. Then you can put SPS or LPS on the rockwork. Just an idea....

I saw a set up where the person used square frag plugs on the bottom. As it grew they broke the plugs off and sold them as frags

A bunch of the guys in S FL were tiling their tanks with travertine. Same idea - when a tile gets encrusted, replace it. It's CaCO3, so good material. I would do an acid bath with it first to get any manufacturing/transport contaminants off of it.

My newest pic...I can try to get a better 1 tomarrow....almost every inch that my leds hit bottom has coraline..to the point now the tiles aren't flat n e more...it's making its own ridges.
