Chalice?

I have a purple watermelon chalice and noticed a few spots that are kind swelled or bubbled...is that normal. In the pics u can see a spot in the middle about as big as maybe a dime or penny. Then couple of spots on the green rim

Wow no chalice experts in this forum...? Surely someone knows something about this......it might be normal after all...im just trying to be cautious as this piece is pricey

+1, I've usually seen that happen when they finally settle in and start growing, how long have you had it?
