Very nice OG.

mm949: Very stressed and bleached, but man! What an awesome colony!! Very rare to see chalices start to tier, although very natural in the wild. It's just that all of our stuff is usually on such a smaller scale we dont usually get to see it in our tanks that much! NICE FIND

Megabite so you are the one that got the chalice! I called Tina from wetthumbfrags about aquiring a frag of that weeks ago and she said she was only making one frag of it and it was going to the auction. How does the frag look? Wetthumbs has always been very generous with their frags in the past, and I'm excited to see what you came up with. They told me it will be a couple more months before they frag it again, so I guess I'm waiting.

It's about a 1/2" - 3/4" frag and acclimating well. I've moved it around a bit to see where it feels more at home. I now have it on the sandbed in a lower light area with moderate flow and it's starting to color up more. When I got it, the color was only on top near the eye and kind of dark around the edges. I will update with pics in a few weeks. I'm hoping it turns out to be a very nice chalice. All of my chalices do well in my tank. Fingers crossed.

well mines nothing awesome, but here is my first challice frag.

That's a great start! It should only get better with time.
