"challice" pics...lets see em!

Thanks Nugz! Im lovin it! Kinda similar as Orion's Belt I think it's called? Posted several years ago, but I think that may have been a little more bluish, cant quite remember. Mine came from a recent Australian shipment though.

first off, your chalice pics are amazing. i look forward to checking this thread everyday before I leave work!

couple questions...

1) what type of camera body and lens are you shooting with? flash, shutter speed, ISO, lighting, tripod/hand, etc?

2) do you just have a huge frag tank, or something? how are you able to keep so many of these guys!?

Divine, Sorry for the delay of response. I forgot I posted this one here. Thank you for the kind word now let me respond to your questions

- I use canon Xti with 100mm/f2.8 Macro . ISO is 800 , F2.8 no flash and Shade WB. I only do freehand with top down box.

- NO I only have a 40g Cube to house all my chalices. You are correct, I have many but 90% are mostly frags that I have been collecting for the past 3 1/2 years.... Some grew from 1 eye and you may thought I have a lot but most chalices are posted previously on this thread. I like to update all my chalices so people can see what they look like from before.

finally some details! That is awesome you have grown some from single eyes. Do you feed your chalices? what and how often are you feeding?

Thanks .. I use to spot feed now too lazy to do it.. I feed pearl eggs once a week and thats about it...
 
Too lazy? :hmm3: I would have a ball feeding all those pieces! Thanks for the response. (I said "finally" because I asked a similar qw a few pages back).

It's good to know they will color up well without direct feeding (judging from your photos).I imagine with appropriate lighting and water chem most chalices will do fine.
I ask because recently I started targeting my only chalice frag (although I'm sure there will be many to come) and it has grown noticeably in a matter of weeks.
