This is my pink on pink eye oxypora chalice:
It is appx. 12"x10"

The body turns greenish blue under 10k as I have noticed in my
frag tank.

This one came in yesterday. It browned out a little from shipping but I think it will color up.

My three babies. I'm looking forward to seeing them in a year.

Thanks everyone! I haven't had it that long so I can't comment on the growth rate. I got it from a LFS that as selling off their livestock. It got stung on the side and healed over in about a week. So it seems to be a ok grower for me. Only time will tell.

just out of curiosity how fast are you guys getting your echinos to grow? do you have any growth shots including the date from a small frag to a decent size colony? Also wat are you feedin your echinos?

Do your guy's chalices look inflated all the time? At night mine are really puffy but in the day they are relatively flat. Is this normal. I have a 24" deep tank and the chalices are on the sand. They are not right under a 250 reeflux 12k but are not in the shade either. Is this a good spot for them??? Any suggestions. Here is my bazooka joe. See how it looks kind deflated??? I know the picture sucks but it looks like you can almost see the skeleton through the flesh???
