Do any of you directly feed Echinophyllia's?
If so what do you feed them?

Change "feed" to "have fed..." PIA. You wanna talk about a slow eater?

At night, if/when you see the sweeper tentacles, I've gotten them to accept tiny pieces of meaty foods and vibra-gro pellets. The best live food was the eye's from frozen krill...
Now, you wanna talk about a PIA.. play golf w/ a turkey baster, SeaSwirl returns and a thawed krill's eye. :mixed:

I've 'done it'... don't 'do it'.

FWIW- I don't target feed these corals.

Very Nice piece Duce! Ever wanna bring a piece of that over the border, I'll meet ya!
LOL@Gary! I got tired of pre-soaking the vibra-gro (damned things float!), so tried the eye-balls... Worked surprisingly well.

What kind of lighting are you guys/gals keeping your Echinoporas under?I've been keeping this one under VHO's and T5's.Its starting to color up a bit now in the couple months i've had it.

I really don't target feed my echino, but about once a week I add some cyclopeeze to the tank a couple hours after lights out. Also the cleaner shrimp bear young weekly so this keeps all the corals more than happy. If they don't eat from the mush during the day, they still get taken care of at night.

From the growth I'd say they're all getting enough to eat.

Everyone has some really nice photos here. :)

Looking good Gary. It's come a long way from that Octopus looking pic a year ago. :)
