it's been both deep and up high in the tank,as well as under both 400 and 250-watt 20K Helios lamps. Currently in a shallow growout tank under a 250. It seems to like a bit of light intensity. Sure is an amazingly colored coral.

I love the piece, I think I am going to get it next friday (payday). He also has some kind of red eyed Oxy I belive. Might buy that also 8D. This hobby was a bad idea for me to start, I wanna buy everything :lol:.

He (owner of the store) already gives me massive deals, he is selling the piece for $89 to everyone else, and $59. The other one is selling for $115 ticket price, $85 for me. I give him coffee I get for free ( I work at a coffee shop) and he gives me massive deals, works great for me 8D.

i have some sps, i don't have the time to take care of sps... i like my low maintanence tank at it is right now. when i had all sps, it was boring just lookin at a bunch of sticks.

In your pic...Your Echino seems awfully close to the the Acan....don't they fight? I lost good chunks off my 2 Echino because they were placed too close to my Acan.
