Looks similar because it's the exact same morph! Only thing not exactly the same is the coloration at the moment which is easily explainable by different tank conditions and lighting.. Granted the first was a top down with strong actinic lighting(look at the egg crate).. but the same color pattern isnt that hard to see...

and the other piece....whatever it is.....looked crappier under the solaris.....the green and purple didn't pop as much......I believe that coral would look best under 10K lighting

Really would like to see some pics Juice. Love that coral, whatever you call it! One of the owners I spoke with said he thought it might be some sort of favia, but then it is alot like a chalice too. Really don't care what it is, my new favorite. Does it extend tentacles and feed at night?

Just last night is has extended a couple feeders. I think it was ****ed off from getting fragged and immediately transfered to a new tank. I initially lost the green rim, and the purple faded out.....but the colors are coming back now.
