Alicia- does this look familiar :(

OUCH! Yes, I have had some bad things happen to my Flying Saucer frags too, but if there is still some healthy tissue left, it should rebound. It just takes a while for the healing.

Don't give up as the Flying Saucer is a spectacular coral when it grows out. Here is an old picture of my mother colony and it is twice as big now:

Here is a newer picture of an edge under my new lighting:

Thanks Bob. Thats a great new shot and it's definitely a nice piece. I was going to surprise a couple people who I have some trades lined out with, but it looks like I will have to find something else to surpise them with ;)

Dang homie. :hmm3: I'm sure it'll come back nicely with some TLC though.

HolY moLY!...

Mark sorry to hear but just like everyone else said it shoulc come back knowing how you take care of your corals...

Beakerbob - Absolutely Eye candy!

Mark, that picture is very familiar :(. I have less of the normal colored part left than you but it seems to be a healthy bugger and should rebound nicely as Bob noted.

Bob, what "new lights" are you running?? Gorgeous shot.

Mark whats the name of this?
newship0280027.jpg

I have no idea. I got it locally as it came in as a hitch hitcher so I decided to take a chance on it. It looks similar to Joe's area 51, but right now its my "on the sandbed under a frag rack full of frags chalice"

Maybe I should name it area 51 v 2.0 and sell it as the real thing on ebay ;) Wait, I have ethics and morals...There goes that plan.

Thanks everyone, but I am not worried about that piece. I have had a few different chalices get stung over time. Within a couple of weeks, things are back to normal. I still need to do some work on the tank. When I moves everything around a couple months ago, I really have some corals just thrown in different places.
