What lights do you keep the Rasta under and what level in the tank? Mine has never developed that auburnish shade in the top. It stays the purple shade in the middle. It's beautiful but I'd like to get that top shade out of it.

Its on my sandbed kind of off in a corner under 250 watt halides. I have had it for awhile and it is a coral that will morph depending on how much light you give it.

They key to any of this is having a wife/girlfriend that is interested enough that she get's a kick out of buying corals almost as much as you do, that will go a long way is lessening any arguments over spending $$$$

If you have a wife/gf that doesn't get it or doesn't like you spending $$$ on corals, well then you are in the wrong hobby!! lol
