A friend of mine needed some cash, so he told me he was selling the whole thing.

I got a couple other reefing buddies to in on it with me, as i could not afford it on my own.

He has lineage that calls it the aquascene goldeneye (or 4 color chalice)...

personally, i dont care what he heck its called, the colors you see are dead accurate, and it was worth every penny....needless to say, it was a lot of pennies=)

I can't seem to get a good pic(not with my camera) ones with flash othe without.

its definitely not a micedium robokaki, looks more like an oxipora with bright pink eyes. I may have just gotten a small frag of one like that, i was shown the mother colony mine came from and it is very similar to your piece.

Those coralites are way too big and the skeleton appears way too smooth for an Oxypora IMO.

I would lean more towards Mycedium.

I agree. Looks like a mycedium. The way the polyps are tilted is a pretty good sign. A closer, clearer pic would be needed to identify it further though.

I think mycedium too. The coralites are raised on one edge and pointing outward from the center, a true sign of mycedium.

Mine has grown since I took that picture. I just fragged mine for the second time about 3 weeks ago. It is a very slow grower.
