Thanks man! Yea its red, orange, with some light shades of pink, and of course those grey markings.. I like it alot - it is very different and really pops out from the others in the tank.. Disturbing bright ! lol

Here is another from the 300..... I call this one the Smurf Chalice. Its a baby blue with bright pink eyes.. and a ton of them at that.

Do you have a picture of yours?

I'll take one of mine and post it. I'll have to check but I don't think mine has the grey markings, just red and I believe it has some pink around the eyes.

I've had a heck of a time with this frag. The original colony was green with golden eyes. Hopefully since I moved it into more light I can get more of that green back, as it faded to brown in the shade

Justin- The creamsicle is way more blue that the golden galaxy. I also like the slight blue rim that the the GG gets. It's also pretty cool that the new eyes come in as a light green

Does anyone know what conditions cause chalice to start popping new eyes? Seems like my chalices will go for awhile without new eyes forming, then all at once, all of them will just start popping new eyes like mad.

I don't know how accurate this is, but my observation has been that when they are healthy and growing, they will grow tissue first, then an eye will develop fueling more growth beyond. What I have no clue on is why some eyes are larger or different shapes etc. My experience has been that some chalices are more eye happy/prone than others. Miami Hurricane/Pumpkin patch for example is an eye machine... where the Tyree Original Pink seems a bit stingy on eyes.
