Change in Tonights Meeting

I just spoke with PMASI President Frank Watters. According to Frank a car crashed into the front of Elmer's Aquarium and did significant damage. Elmer's is closed due to water damage and the power is shut off. Since it is the last hour, we still plan on going to Elmer's and meeting up with everyone and then going to a local restaurant and having a round table discussion. I am still bringing a bunch of coral frags and will either raffle them off or simply give them away.

We are rescheduling the presentation for a future date. Sorry for the last minute notice on this and I hope that you guys still want to come hang out.

They must have some kind of back-up. Karen and Gary were both on the news last night. They said they will be open Monday.

Apparently, based on what I heard on the radio, the person that drove thru the front window pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake....

I went to Elmers and stood there for over an hour directing our members that we were going to Primantis due to the incident. What was told to me may have been a bit exaggerated. The power was on and there was not much in terms of water. All of the fish and systems were on-line. I offered the clubs manpower in helping her clean up, but she gracefully declined and even offered to allow us to pull the table into the parking lot out back for the meeting, which we gracefully declined.

Didn't seem like a good idea considering that vehicles had a hard time not running over pedestrians IN the store let alone sitting in the parking lot.
