Changing 3130/2 to 9010

I have Tunze skimmer 3130/2 but I'd like to change the skimmer to 9010, a new version.

I think 9010 is designed based on 3130/2. Is it possible to change the skimmer to a new version?

If yes, what parts are needed to change that?

Also, where can I order the parts?

I think it is better for you to buy 9010 instead of upgrading 3130/2 to 9010. This is because skimmer box and pump used are different between the two skimmers, which will cost over 200 dollars together.

Yes, you need too many new parts including the body to make it feasible.

I think spending around $300 for upgrading the skimmer is more economical than buying a new one in my countury.

Anyway, I really would like to know the list of parts for upgrading the 3130/2 to 9010.

Hydrofoamer in 9010 is different from impeller assembly of 3130/2?

Definetely, DOC skimmer extension set(9005.400) and housing(9010.100) should be needed, I think. Anything else?

The problem is that the skimmer body is not generally sold seperate, your dealer may be able to arrange a special order but it is not a standard item. You would need the body, the 9005.400 extension set, the screen cover 9010.300 and the venturi nozzle 3130.16, the pump is the same as the old one, just black and with an improved venturi.
