Changing se halide bulbs

I'm replacing my se mogul base halide bulbs. How do I accomplish proper nipple position? Does the bulb need to be screwed all the way? Does the socket need to be rotated somehow? The two bulbs are at different nipple positions when I screw them in all the way.

Thanks

Unplug your ballast. Pullout ont the tab inside the socket. Position the bulb with nipple up 12o'clock if possible. U don't have to bottom out the bulb in the socket just enough to touch the tab and be secure in the socket. Anywhere between 9 and 3o'clock is ok but 12o'clock being optimal. Oh and dont touch the bulb with your fingers.

Didn't know bulbs had nipples, and now I learn that we need to be careful with how we play with them.

PS What is this nipple I need to be concerned about, i.e., how do I recognize it?

I understand it actually doesn't matter what position the nipple is in. Just don't try to milk your bulbs
