Changing water in ht and adding antibiotic 2-3 hours later?

If I wanted to get their nightly water changes done earlier before the light cycle is over, is there any harm to the treatment process/ success in leaving the ht with clean water and then adding the antibiotic to the water at lights out 2 to maybe 3 hours later?
