Cheap Black Box help

I don't have much experience in this regard but I would go with vipar cause it only has one cord. The dual cord seems cheap and bulky to me. What about the t247

I doubt that is any different then the reg 110watt ones you list in the first post. It wouldn't handle the heat of 5w LEDs, they only use a 3/16" plate of aluminum as a heat sink.

This is part of your last light you link to, it's what I've used the last year and very happy with the it for the $$.

How does the app work? Can you set timers for each channel since only one cord?

wrestler21x, that fixture says 300w it means it has 60 each 5 watt leds. HOWEVER, look at the specs further down the page and it is driving them at just 120 watts or 0.5 watts each. That makes absolutely no sense to me! I wouldn't buy it without a lot more info. And I'm fairly up on black box led fixtures, and I've never heard of this one.
Thanks Ron thinking of getting the ones cheapreef suggested but looking for a little more info. Since they only have one cord can you have each channel on a timer or does it have built in timers. I am hoping to order tonight Judy on a budget and want to get something decent

I have not had one issue with the Wifi app.
Yes you can set all 3 dimmers to different % at 24 set points troughout the day with Android. If you have a Iphone/pad I believe it's 36

I'm not promoting this, but take a look at Euphotica leds. They have been around a while and they have pretty good control.

I have 2 different brands of fixtures that use wifi and I'm not sold on them. The manufacturers keep changing the software. I'd just as soon have a dedicated remote.

Get the vipar or search and get the same exact fixture called bloomspect on amazon prime for $10 less. I would go with that one vs any of the others you linked. Why? Because the timer is actually pretty slick and you'll only have one cord. The other pro's I would say is that the spectrum is better in that fixture vs the others linked. The mars is solid and has a higher par but the spectrum is thrown off with the 3500k led's present in the fixture. The one I suggest pulls around 500 par at 100% 24" below which is more than adequate and the lens seem to disperse the light pretty well.

Went with 2 Ghydro for 90 bucks can't beat it and think they will be the easiest to hook up to apex down the road

The only issue or difference on using the Apex for control is your limited to 10% as your lowest setting. I run mine down to 3% for the start and end of my light cycle. Non issue if that is of no concern.
