cheap halide retros

pretty decent price on old style magnetic ballasts. these are similar to what i use on my setup, i bought reflectors from hellolights and bulbs on ebay. i think jason uses pretty much the same thing on his tank as well, sure beats paying $1k for a light setup. if anyone gets some and wants help putting them together let me know.

I'm wondering of a good way to make this look good on my bio cube. I'd probably get a 150w. Any ideas?

I would prob go with a DE on a bio cube.

i dont mind hanging something from the ceiling. is there a good reason for de bulbs for biocubes? mines 29 gal
