Cheap Top down equipment?

I've been looking at the avast top down but it's just so expensive, is there a place where i can buy a cheaper simple one? also, what exactly are these called, the equipment that lets you take "top down" photos

Coral viewer, or something like that... There are several not specifically made for photography that might work for you. Eshopps makes one, Marine Depot has one for under $20. Just turning off the pumps and letting the surface settle might work, too.

I made these out of scrap acrylic and 3" PVC total cost was less than $5
