Check my work with the hanna.

I got my Hanna calcium and phosphorus checkers today.

My calcium read 436

And my P level in ppb was 11.

Now, 11(3.066)=33.726 PO4 PPB.
33.726/1000=.0337 PPM.

First of all, is that math correct?
Second of all, I've read that the ocean stays right around .03ppm po4. Am I cool where I'm at? I don't have any nuisance algae....yet (knock on wood), but I hate to start chasing zeros for no good reason.

The math is fine.

0.03 ppm is low enough to be acceptable, but our testing kits have limited precision. As long as the animals are doing well, I wouldn't worry.

A little short cut. Multiply the Hanna results by .00306.
