I woke up at 7am this morning to this.
I have owned this house for 5 years and not once has my yard flooded to my doghouse much less almost submerged it. That is actually built on the highest point of my backyard. The top of my neighbors trampoline is under about 1 1/2 foot of water for a reference of how much water we are talking about. BTW my doggies are fine and have been relocated to my garage.

I need flood insurance for my doghouse.

Almost had to, im 6'4" and the water was up to my waist when i got them out. They had to swim tho and after all that once they got to dry land and shook off they jumped right back in and swam around for another 5 mins or so for fun.. I would have thought they would be glad to be out but hey my dogs love water i guess.

WOW!!!! Holy cow. What side of town do you live on? When I left the house this morning, One of the streets in my neighborhood (near downtown) had actually collapsed into the ditch, and later on while repairing it, the crew broke a gas main.

Im right off Exit 11. Im lucky enough to share the drain off spot in my neighborhood with my neighbor. One of those things my realtor forgot to tell me about.
