I got some video of these things that are in my fuge and I never saw one actually free-swimming until tonight. I uploaded it to youtube so I don't know how bad it is compressed. Hope you can still see the thing.

Anyone have ideas? I have heard that hydroids can swim around on their own and are a type of jellyfish.

At first I thought these were aiptasia. Don't know which is worse.

will be watching to see if anyone ID's These Critters..

I did some digging (too much time on my hands). I may be wrong but it looks to be Boloceroides mcmurrichi , aka the swimming anemone. Sounds like a free swimming aiptasia-like species. However, the good news is from what I read, they colonize sea grass which is usually found in lower current areas (or refugiums) so I doubt they would do too well in your main tank. However, I would pluck 'em if possible.
