couldn't you make one for cheaper than what they want, find a used on of ebay use your one pumps and copy the design, wow my wife would shoot me if is spent that much on a skimmer. Don't get me wrong though thats one awesome skimmer could you fit that in your sump lonnie

I think the pumps are the most Costly part of the skimmer.

I paid around 600-650 for my ASM G5, and I think that top one would blow mine away.

I'm not sure if those have to be in sump or not, but I could make room

Yeah I saw those- Not a bad price for what you're getting. Stock numbers aren't the greatest but with meshwheel mods that would be a serious skimmer.

Kent, what is the pieces at the end of the Air Line?

I have seen that before but didn't know what they were for.

They are muffler to quiet down the "sucking noise". Mine has that also but I don't use it. Mine is as quiet as my deltec was.

Yeah- Scott (Spazz) is building some pretty massive stuff these days. He's got his own CNC machine so he's able to slap pieces of material on it and cut flat pieces pretty easily without much redesign. I'm frikin jealous! His prices on massive skimmers like that are pretty darn good too considering alternatives....Those huge keyhole flanges are sweet.....

Sweeeet Skimmer!

thats a ocean runner 4 banger

you know if you boar it out, and mesh mod it, your really cooking some bubbles!

Someone in here needs to form a skimmer head club before someone else does, market it, T-Shirts...

Speaking of Oceanrunners, I was getting about 700-750 LPH out of my oceanrunner 2700 with the meshwheel. I'm seriously considering going back to 4 2700's cuz they're a lot quieter, less turbulent and use less electricity than the 3 Gen-X 4100's....
