So after my RBTA died, my clowns have been "hosting" in my frogspawn. I figured that they were a pair, because one got to be about twice the size as the other. I got these clowns from Rods reef, they are the Rods Onyx. I got them when they were babies, they didn't even have their white bars developed.

Tonight after the lights went out I decided to take a look in the tank with a flashlight. The frogspawn was "sucked in" (as I call it), and what did I see on a rock that is hidden when the frogspawn is all extended?! You guessed it... Clownfish eggs! I tried my best at taking some pics, I can see them really good when I zoom in on the photo, but photobucket resizes them. I'm not sure if you guys will be able to see the eggs.

I just thought this was way cool! What do you guys think? If you can't see the eggs in the pics let me know, I'll try to host them some place where they don't automatically downsize the file. They look really cool when you zoom in, you can see the individual eyes!

Adam if you can manage to separate the eggs into another tank, I have phyto, as well as rotifers that can be used as feed to bring them from larvae to fish.

I know that none of them survived, I don't expect them to live in my tank. I have too much flow and too many fish that I'm sure loved eating them. I want to read up on breeding them, do you guys know of a good site that is very detailed? I put a piece of a clay pot over the spot where they laid the eggs, I want to see if I can get them to lay them on it, that way I can remove them. Wish me luck!
