Well tonigt I was looking at my tank with the lights out and noticed something really cool. My pinstriped pygmy wrasse (Pseudocheilnops ataenia) had formed a mucus coat around it.
I know that parrotfish do this often to mask their scent from predators, but I didnt think that other fish did this as well.

Yup, I had a little yellow one (damned if I can remember the name) when I was moving my tank(s) across the development... Little bugger dived into the sandbed when I tried to net him, and I never found him....

... until 2 days later when I had all the tanks setup in the basement of our house!
