Hi everyone. just checking in. Want you all to know my tank and my little slice of the sea is doing great!!
Everything is healthy and happy and thriving so far. I couldn't be more pleased with my TB set up. A huge thank you to Richard.

Here's a couple recent pictures...

I never get tired of gazing at my new tank. I could use some help with an ID on something I got with part two though. Everyone that comes over to see my tank raves about it and wants on. One guy even wanted me to frag it for him! Um.... not going to happen! ;)

Here's the picture of what I need ID'd. It's the beautiful red centerpiece in my tank. I am quite certain it's a sponge but don't know what type. Others that have come to see it say they don't think it's a sponge?? Well... I've felt it, moved it and it feels like a sponge to me but I would love to know what type.

Thanks so much~

Wozer!

Wozer!

Your tank is looking AWESOME!

You are a good mommy!

Not real scientific, but we call them red ridge sponges...for lack of a proper name....may be in Paul's book..

Keep up the good tank husbandry!

The tank looks great! I am working on greeting ready to place an order for my new 90 gallon system

What are you using for water movement. I can see a few powerheads, but what are they.

Thanks - Craig

Hi Craig and thanks~ I have a Quiet One 4000 for my return pump and use 2 Koralia 3's in the tank for movement.
That's really all i need. i have all the current i need and then some. but my tank isn't as big as yours. It's a 67 gallon and the footprint is a bit different. It's 48 inches long, by 18 inches wide and 18 inches deep.

I have another larger Salt Water tank too. It's a 210 gallon. I have two Vortechs in there. I love the vortechs < but they are pricey> on my bigger tank. I've got larger, messy, fish in it < large angel, puffer, trigger, etc> and the variable currents, etc with the Vortechs are perfect.
I also have 3 Koralia 5's in the big tank to help with dead spots and 2- return pumps, Quiet one 6000's.
Hope this helps!
You will love Richard's Package. It will amaze you.
