Just wondering if anyone has used Boyd's chemi pure elite or seachem denitrate,if so what were the results ,thks

Denitrate will not work in salt water, don't waste your money. Chemipure which is a mixture of ion exchange resins and carbon is fine in the sense that carbon will work, but ion exchange resins don't function well in salt water. I think you would be better off with a good grade of carbon.

If you can purchase GFO and carbon. Chemipure is the same thing but in one bag ready to go. You would save some cash in the long run.

Thanks for the input,Ijust have a major cyno outbreak, trying to find solutions, cut back on feeding and biload, gave away 3 fish,I think I will try Matrix, been using aquaclear carbon.

Matrix is good carbon, But I would not expect carbon to control a cyanobacteria outbreak. Check out reefkeeping back issues for options.
