Chicagoland snowstorm

This might be off the subject but it has to do with the Chicagoland area. A reminder to all fellow reefers to drive safe. Imagine if there was big sales at all kinds of LFS and would we think twice about driving in this kind of weather?

Don't even bother folks....ain't worth it.
I told my wife to roll over and take a snow day.
I've spoken to two friends who left their house, drove for a while and turned around and called it a day.

I still had to work today but made it in with no problem. My boss on the other hand got in a wreck when a guy came over 4 lanes of traffic. Hes ok but the tucks a mess. I just wanna head home already. Stupid work.

Unfortunatly some of us have to drive and to top it off I have to send semi drivers out so to all who read this PLEASE REMEBER IT TAKES A TRUCK THREE TIMES LONGER TO STOP ON DRY PAVEMENT AND PROBALLY 10 TIMES MORE ON A DAY LIKE TODAY so if you have to be out here please watch for the big trucks and be very careful

This is crazy. I have to deliver chinese tonight, I'll have a TON of deliveries, but this will be scary in my sebring. I am actually worried about this.

days like today really make me appreciate working out of my house, untill my kids barge into my office when i am speaking with a client...........:mad2:

How about having the power lines hanging down in front of the garage doors I guess its time to rework the fish tanks

You and me both...My wife called in a snow day...and then opted against the kids going to the sitter since she was going to be home. Now I'll be barricaded in my office trying to get some work done while they'll be banging on the door wanting a snowball fight. :)

I was up at 2am....flew in to work averaging about 50 mph ;) Almost lost it a few times. Roads SUCKED even I-90...and I drive from sycamore to libertyville (about an hour and 15 on a good day) Hopefully the roads will be better when I get out at 1!

I live 20 min north of chicago

I am not looking foward to work today. I taxi big jets at O'hare and they slide really easily when taxiing them even when it rains. Even worse when it snows :( Everyone be safe!!!!!

Got to work this morning in 1.5 hours (normal). Pulled into the parking lot and was told corporate had closed the branch for the day - would have been nice to know last night.

Now I'm just gonna waste about an hour before getting back in the car.

I'm with all of you! Just decided to work out of the home office for today....... ;)

Okay, so what needs to be done with the fish room? :D

Drive safe and have an awesome snow day!
