Who bothers to go the sped limit? No one, I know of...

I used to do HOT on dogs years ago... Works great but they leave an oil spot wherever they sit for a few days--on furniture, etc.

OT: Is it OK to trim the hair around their eyes so they an see better, or is that necessary for them for dust, bright light, or something mother nature cooked up?

Absolutely, they should have the hair by their eyes trimmed. It will hurt their vision to have to look around/thru the hair & eye buggars stick to it. Eye buggars are made from salt--very caustic--it will burn the skin by their eyes & eat it away.

HOT is done as a final rinse, after the bath. What type of dog is this? You should probably have it profesionally groomed.

Puff: a Cavalier KC, a neighbor pooch I play with. So I don't have to get one for my kids...

Made the long commute through the corn fields of SE Wisconsin, in white out blowing conditions, 10 inches of snow. Got to work and both bosses look at me and ask why am I here. They won't close the office, but they were not letting us out for inspections. Said, I could go home at 1:30, snow stops and I have to stay. Still can't go out and make inspections. Not even suppose to be on the net. Long boring day.

One note, while coming in there are some big hills on Highway 50, a lady stopped at the apex of the hill and put her flashers on, was putting on make up and had a cell phone to her ear. How she did not get hit I will never know.

PS we're still getting snow up here. the drive to work sukced but I think I may have a new record for driving sideways.

Man, I feel for those people on I-80 west of us...News says some of them have been stuck for more than 8 hours...running out of gas now, etc. They have called in the National Guard and Salvation Army to help (glad I give to the Bell Ringers when I see 'em)
During the REALLY BIG snowstorm of like 66 or 67 I was about 9 years old and I remember we lived in a 1st floor apartment on the corner. Mom turned off all the lights and raised up the blinds and we just ate our dinner watching the snow fall. I think we got like 19 inches or something, I'll have to look it up. My mom owned a grocery store and helped everyone in the neighborhood with whatever they needed until things straightened out. Sure miss those days!!!
