Chiller Bubbles!

Hi All...

I just hooked up my new Current 1/10 hp chiller. It's being driven by a Mag 5 with about 2 ft of head.

It's been blowing massive bubblage for about an hour now.

This is my first chiller so I'm not sure if this is normal. I guess I expected some bubbles as the air cleared out, but not for this long.

How long should this go on?

If it's a massive amount, I would say that there is a leak somewhere and inducing air into the line. I would expect a lot at start up and then some sparatic spraying for a few days but not 'blowing massive bubblage for about an hour now."

Thanks Hop! You're right on!

The clamp on the outlet side was tight enough to not leak water, but it was sucking massive air!

After cranking down on the clamp, I was able to get rid of all bubblage! I feel pretty stupid...
