Chiller type?

Hi all, I'm in the planning stages for a 120 gal reef. I've never needed a chiller before, but I now live in southern California. The regular chillers require a pump and plumbing. The drop in coil type seem much simpler to set up and use. No pump or plumbing. Is there any reason not to use the drop-in type? I was looking at the Aqua-Logic 1/5 HP. Thanks
