it is a coral. looks like my purple lamnelia but is a nice red like a chilli pepper. can see it in the non photosynthetic forum

This coral mainly stays closed up during lights on, and opens up at night to feed.
Looks cool opened up though.
I have seen a darker red color and a orange color. I like the red better.

i got a darrk red one at night it opens ... up ive heard of some people placing them upside down in caves to keep them open during the day........ i got mine from marinedepot and could only get a medium seems they never have larges

aquatic tech had some not long ago. they were open and looking good. I have never seen them open anywhere else.
