The lights that I have bought are ledbell, did anyone get any par readings from these. I have two over my 3 foot tank and they certainly look brighter than 6x t5 tubes, especially the blues.
I am Deciding on whether to keep them as two is a squeeze.
The specs are
LED type: Bridgelux and Epistar
LED Qty: 55pcsx3w high power
Size: 400x212x62mm mm
LED wavelength:
White: 16000k-20000k
Blue: 460nm
Lux (center): 138/2.5m, 95/3m, and 65/3.5m
Voltage: AC 85-265V
Luminous flux: 7000lm

trying to decide on what led system to purchase, i like the Nova A8 for a
60x36x27 tank looking at two for my tank. i was quoted a price of $380.00 each. Do anybody know where i can get them cheaper, the apollo dimmable is running 379.00 each?

I'd wait a few more weeks.. Evergrow is suppose to come out with an
APEX dimmable model. Supposedly in the A4/6/8 frame..

I am planning to get a 48inch LED fixture from Houyi for my 135x60x60 cm tank (54x24x24 inches).

I thought of customizing it by adding red, purple, violet and green leds, therefore needed you opinions on the layout and the number of bulbs of each color that would be best for a mixed reef aquarium.

40 Pcs White
10k 10pcs
14k 15pcs
18k 15pcs
23 Pcs Blue (460nm)
8 Pcs Moon Blue (453nm)
4 Pcs Purple (427nm)
6 Pcs Violet (410nm)
5 Pcs Red
2 Pcs Green

I have also attached the layout diagram with this post. Will greatly appreciate your feedback.

thanks.

Too much white, I would do 3:2 blue to white. Also you might want to think about 4 green and 4 red and group them together. Do they have any 420 instead of 410 and 427?

Are you going to run it with or without optics? I'd chuck the reds on the same channel as the whites. Other than that it looks good.

I was planning on using 90 degree beam angle LEDs so I do not have to use optics. I revised the layout and moved the reds on the same dimmer as the whites. Do you think they look good where I placed them or do you think I should put them in the center on either site of the moonlight LED?

I think they are fine where they are and on second thoughts I would maybe move 2 of the violets onto the white channel as well. Remember I have slightly more blues/rbs on mine and at 100% its like a 10K look.

Can the third channel control more than 3 leds? Moonlights don't matter that much to me, and would be more interested in loading up on reds, cyans, and violets on the third channel.
