Radbluesfan,
Super nice tank and I really like your color...that yellow color from your really pop out. My Foxface color is nowhere nearly yours on my 48" Aquaticlife 4-lamp
T5. Do you mind to share your ratio on those two Eshine fixtures?
These have been on my 75 gallon for a week. Very happy with the color. It is hard to get accurate video but this is not too bad. I am running white at 65% and blue @ 75%
Switch 1: 24 Royal Blue + 4 UV
Switch 2: 23 White + 4 Violet

Thank you for the review Cappy! I am guessing you have the three switches so that you can manage the green and red on one, with the moon on another, and the rest on a third? Do you have the link you ordered from so that I may look it over? Thanks again!
jjim, i believe cappy bought the fixture with the standard configuration of 2 power switches with 3 dimmers. first power switch controls all 3 dimmers. second power switch controls the moonlight. the only change from the original set up is that he chose neutral whites instead of the other white LEDs.
i would like to see some pictures of the fixture and the reef tank with lights on. i would also like to know the number of inches above water line, tank dimensions and the coverage footprint.

I am also interesting in this new light fixture directly from the factory in China. I may pull a trigger on this unit soon. But still not too sure about the ratio. Any suggestions would be appreciate a lot. It is a 48" long with 80 x 3w Bridgelux leds.

Thx.
how much is that light
I think I am about to order a Nova a4 this week. This is what I have come up with as far as LEDs go.
dimmer 1:
12 reg. white
8 neutral white
4 UV
dimmer 2:
16 reg. blue
4royal blue
4 violet
What does everyone think. I do like a more crisp color. Like a phoenix 14k
I had an apollo led that was exactly like the nova except not dimmable. I returned it because it was just too powerful for my setup. I did like the color just a little bland, not as much pop as Id like. It had a 1:1, W:B ratio. I think the violets, royals and uv will fix the small lack in spectrum

I just emailed sam and Im not sure if he understands the difference between cool white - neutral white and cool blue - royal blue. Is it really that big of a deal? would it still be ok if I just went with 20 white, 20 blue, 4 violet and 4UV? Are the 4 violet and 4UV enough to shift it to the 14k-16k range? What kelvin do you think this LED combo would be? Should I take out 4 whites and add 2 blues and 2violets? or maybe just 4 more violets? What is the best combo to get a really crisp phoenix 14k look?
Thanks
John
