Looks like a Chiton to me.

Yes, I have one that I believe is the same species in my aquarium. At one point I was pretty sure I had figured out what genus it was but I can't remember any more. Cool find! Did it come in on live rock?

I've had it for more than a year and a half that I know of,
the first time I saw it it was about 1 1/2 now it is close to 4"

I dont know where it came from, I didn't buy it,
I've seen it maybe 10 times in the 2 years I've had my reef, this is the first time I could get it out of the tank to take pictures
My LR is tonga branch and fiji aquacultured.
I wish I knew the genus, but it doesnt look like the others in the pics I've seen online
