Chloroquin Phosphate dosing

Alas I am coming around to the practice of quarantine.. :sad1: What is the reccommended dose for Chlor Phospate in a HT? and how is it maintained? Tested? Can it be used in addition to copper? will it kill a bioball culture in sump? will copper absorb into live rock? just need some general info. Steve? You seem to be the authority.

10mg/L (40mg/gal) is the recommended dose. Dose once and maintain for 30 days. Turn off aquarium lights (ambient room light is fine), turn off skimmer, remove carbon. If you have to do a water change, add the appropriate dosage to the fresh SW before you add it to the tank.

Don't use it with copper. It can't be tested in the aquarium. It won't absorb in to rock or sand. Doesn't hurt good bacteria. Copper will absorb into live rock, sand and silicone... Alprazo is the authority when it comes to CP. The rest of us can just share experiences
