I am starting to notice possible signs of flukes in my DT. I am currently treating the main tank with CP. I am worried about a tang that has stopped eating and has started to shake its head once or twice today. I am thinking flukes.(not sure)I want to attack this fast. I was wondering if anything can be mixed with CP safely to treat for flukes. Thanks

You can safely do it, but interacting the two decreases praziquantel's effectiveness.

I am using prazipro. Does that make any difference? and wont it be absorbed by my live rock?

Prazipro is praziquantel. Watch for oxygen levels an pH when using both together

I thought quantel was a powder and pro was liquid? could be wrong.

And there is no real way to check oxygen levels correct? Just watch the fishes behavior?

liquid or powder form of a same drug is still the same drug, but I would say definitely use the liquid version when it comes to our aquariums due to better dissolve and distribution factors.

oxygen lvls can be monitored by means of ORP if you have a aquarium controller, otherwise pH lvls can pretty much give u a hint if the oxygen lvl is dropping. Since u can't use skimmers when u medicated, I would suggest using an air pump would be a necessity.

right now i have my wet dry sump and i have a powerhead pointing out of the water so its like a fountain. i will as an airstone as well because i do have bigger tangs that need the high saturated oxygen levels. So normally dosing level correct?
