Choc Chip Star Feeding

Hi everyone. On Friday I added a small chocolate chip star to my 125g FOWLR tank. Yesterday, I added a live littleneck clam near him for him to eat. Sure enough, when I came back in 10 minutes he was on top of it and had the shell wedged open slightly.

How long does it take him to feed? He hasn't moved in 12+ hours.

It probably takes a little while, I dont think physically eat clams, they exude there stomach into the critter and dissolve its juicy goodness.

Yeah, he's off now. Came off shortly after I had posted. Was just surprised how long he ate for.
