is there any reason a chocolate chip star couldnt be kept in my fuge?

the fuge is a 20L with no other inhabitants

PS: I dont care if he eats all the pods

I dont have any fish that eat them and my main reason for putting in a fuge is for nutrient export through the macro....what are pods wanted for besides feeding fish?

I am assuming that I will need to feed this star fish...so if the star fish is fed will it still eat up all the pods?

I'm not sure, but I don't really think your pods are at risk anyway. A CC star is a pretty deliberate feeder. They get on top of their food and extend their "stomach" over it. A 1/4" chunk of thawed shrimp or scallop every few days should keep it plenty happy. The reason they're not reef safe is corals don't move, so they're easy prey.
