I've got a small (10gal) tank setup for my daughter. Its got some like rock, skimmer, nice bed and currently houses a 6 line wrasse, a Cherub angle fish, and a small neon gobby.
About a week ago we added a small (<3") Chocolate-Chip starfish.
When first put in the tank, it was very active and explored all areas of the tank. We fed it a piece of krill about 3 days ago and ever since, the starfish has been very sluggish.
The other day i was attached to the glass one minute, the next it was laying upside down on a rock. Its done this twice now.
When it is stuck on the glass I've noticed its feelers are no longer spread from center to tip, they seem to be bunched up on any given leg.
Tank is at 80F, 8.2pH, 10.5ALK, and Amonia/Rites/Rate all "zero". Ive been doing weekly 2-3 gal changes and yes tank has a skimmer and filter (using PureChem).
Whats happening?
