I have another build thread on my local club thread but decided I wanted to start one here as well. My tank is a 75G display with maybe a 30-40G sump, I had someone local make it but I forgot the total gallons, either way the system is 80G total.
I just recently started the Aquaforest supplements and have been using NP Pro, Pro Bio s, ABEV, Phos Minus, and just started using component 1,2,3 today because one of my dosers kept losing its prime and just fixed it today with a new tube. I run filter floss but want to possible take it off. Skimmer is a Vertex 150 and has been working really great and pulling some dark nasty stuff since starting AF.
Live Stock includes; Tomini tang, 2x Clown Fish, Pink Margin Wrasse, Pylei Wrasse, McCosters Wrasse, Yellow Watchman Goby, and my CUC. I want to add more fish to put more of a bio load on the tank (maybe Anthias) but I am not too sure about that just yet, I want to see how the tank reacts with the start of AF.
I have been doing weekly 20% water changes but possibly starting next week I may change that to 10% biweekly since I will have the Component 1,2,3 in use. Return pump is a VarioS S2 running 100% with a MP40 and MP10. Lighting is a 8bulb ATI fixture with LED supplement.
That covers pretty much everything, if you have any questions just ask. Before I move on to the pictures I must let you know I am NOT a good photographer even though I am using a DSLR with a macro lens. I still have a lot to learn with taking aquarium pictures but hopefully they arent too bad and you can see what I was trying to capture.
Some corals are bleached out and some still do not show the true colors they are supposed to, I am trying to get better colors but just want to take things slow for now and see what happens. I may order some more AF products to help enhance certain colors but first I want to run component 1,2,3 for a few weeks before I make any changes.
