I bought a Christmas wrase and he jumped into my overflow. I guess he was in there a day and a half before I found him. He was still alive so I put him in a critter keeper in the same tank to keep the water param's the same. Two days later he is still alive but laying on his side, once and a while he'll swim around then return to his side. His fins are pretty bad and his nose is rubbed down to cartilage.

Reef central what are your opinions?
Any chance of him making it?
OT tank?
or should I say good bye?

I feel bad for the little guy......

I posted in the Reef Fishes forum and received some answers:
1. QT and use Nitrofuracin
2. He needs a sand bed

What are your ideas and thoughts?

Yes I do @3". I put some sand in the critter keeper and he burried himself last night. Still alive and kicking
