Chromis and anemones

Does anyone think my chromis will get eaten by my Mertensii or purple LTA? I know my chromis are safe with a BTA but I am not sure about the Mertensii or M. Doreensis. Well the purple LTA has eaten my pink skunk but it wasn't the LTA's fault..she shouldn't have used the mouth of the LTA for a hiding spot. My LTA is extremely sticky so I doubt it would have any trouble catching my chromis. What do you guys think? If you think its not safe for my chromis to live with those anemones. Then I will continue looking for a new home for them.

Don't think there is any greater risk then any other fish. In fact, I would think that since they tend to stay more in the water column, that they might be safer then other fish.

It has been many years since I have had chromis in my tank(s), but when I did I never lost any of them to an anemone -- both an LTA and Haddoni.

I worry that if they get scared (which happens often) they will jump right into an anemone. They dive to the rocks every time I walk up to the tank. Then come out once they realise I'm the one that feeds them. I have had them for so long I'd hate for anything to happen to them.

The five chromis have been living in my 56g for three months. They use to be in my 120 for 1.5 years, but I let my tank go fallow for two months. I was selling them on a local reef forum but since the last comment left on my selling thread, I decided maybe I'll keep them. They offered $5 dollars for each 3" chromis and then said they will feed them to their frogfish.:mad2: :( don't you guys think that is just aweful?

This is why I'm asking everyone if the chromis will be ok with my LTA and Mertensii in a 120g tank.

that's pretty lame to feed someone's fish as food. I think they'd be fine in a 120. Mine seem to be pretty smart when it comes to staying away from anemones

I'm not sure it's true but just something I hear around here, people have said that chromis are closely enough related to clowns that the anemones don't eat them. They have actually hosted in the wild...
or so I heard

I have seen videos on youtube.com where people were feeding chromis to their haddoni. :( Then there were also videos of domino damsels using a rose bta as a host. Is that what you are thinking?
