circulation flow rate in Calcium reactor

does any body know what is the flow rate needed inside the calcium reactor?
for some calcium reactor, they put in a large pump to recirculate the low PH many times (at least 10 like in deltec calcium reactor).
i use coralife calcium reactor, it seems that it only circulates about 2-3 times.
i know that PH is the main factor, what about the pump? can some body talk about the pump size and the effectiveness of the calcium output?
thanks

(i would guess that more recirculation of the low ph water is better, but how much is enough?)

Great question. I have asked this same question in the past, and to be honest never got a good answer, but I did not try the Chem forum either.

From experiance, a higher flow rate does seem to allow the reactor to handle more demand.

Sorry this is a very old thread but the guy means circulation within (inside) the calcium reactor, not the effluent.

I also would like to know that, maybe now somebody has the right answer.
