Clam disapperance

I was horrified last night when I went to feed the fish that my blue Maxima wasn't where he's supposed to be. Which is on top of the rocks. I had to dig him out, unpile the rocks. I'm not sure how long he had been there inside the pile without direct light on him. 48 hours at most, I guess. Hope he's OK. I'll see how he is tonight.

It's not a big problem for a clam to be without a light 48hrs.

The clam did not feel right where it waz, so it took action.

Ya cant really tell when a clam going to do this , but what you can do is to keep it in a place where it wont go under the rocks so easily, so like this u wont have to take out the rockwork and stress the whole tank.
