i have a small clam, not sure what kind he is. he is bright blue. his problem is one side of him has green algea growing on the inside and his mantle doesn't come out there. is there anything i can do to help him?

Whenever I have seen green algae growing around the inside top rim the clam has stopped calcification. If this is the case then I would check your calcium/alkalinity/pH, lighting and feeding to ensure all the parameters are optimal for it to lay down new shell growth.
