clam question

can i keep a clam under PCs the guys at the fishstore says yes but i just wanted to make sure he isnt just trying to make $ off me

depends on the type of clam but few have long term success unless your using well established reef with metal halides, clams are one of the hardest things to keep since they can die for no reason, just look at all the post of people with dead clams, save your money and never trust the LFS

I keep croceas and maximas under 3 VHO bulbs. I just have them up higher on the reef, closer to the bulbs. I've had them for years.
