Clam tank lighting!

Good news on the 10000ks! By the way, before they fully shift, can you take some before and after shots on the colors of your clams in the yellower lighting and the whiter lighting? I'm curious as to how their coloration is affected by the yellow in the light.

Wow, that picture looks like a 'where's Waldo' picture.
How many clams can you count?

The color is looking better on that tank Jim.

I have a pair of 250 Iwasakis over my 80 gallon. I supplement with 2x110 VHO. One actinic, and one 50/50 bulb.
I think I will change it to 4x110 with 3 actinic, and 1 50/50 bulb to even out the colors.

I also JUST hooked up the new Iwasaki 50,000K 150 watt MH bulb over a 20 gallon last night. It truly surprised me in that for a brand new bulb, it was NOT yellow AT ALL. It was about the color of a typical 10K bulb. So I can't wait for it to reach full color.
People have suggested that you could use the 150 watt 50K bulb instead of VHO for supplementation.
