Clam Tank Mates

Hi Everybody:
I'm thinking of getting a clam for my 24 nano cube. I've been reading up on the requirements and care. I have several blue leg, scarlet leg, and emerald crabs and was wondering if they would be able to co-exist in harmony with a clam? If any of you clam experts could shed some light on my question, I would greatly appreciate your response

crabs do not bother clams.

oh and unless you have a MH for that nano i'd recommend staying away from clams

yeah, you should be fine. the only possible problem i've ever heard of was an emerald crab crawling inside of a clam and irritating it to the point of death.

only thing i have had kill my clams was a nas snail ate it from the undear neath where the clams foot is

that was probable a vibex snail or a whelk, which are known clam eaters, and very similar to nass snails, often mistaken for them. they have a serrated shell usually, thats really the only way to tell them apart.

giant nas snail is what i had well what it was when i got it at the LFS but they are very good at IDing there critters

my giant nas snail is white, will it be bad for a clam then?
