clams colors

I have a crocea clam that I keep in my smaller tank with not enough light. It lost some of it's amazing colors. I am still in the middle of my upgrade to a bigger tank with more light. I have now just moved my clam over to the bigger tank. This is the light it was craving. Can somebody tell me if it will regain it's colors it once had now that I have given it the light it needs???

tough to say without a picture, but it should depending on how far gone it is. what lights did you have and what lights are you running now?

I had it in a 29 bio cube with a 20 gallon sump/fuge... It was modded with a 70 watt MH 10k ushio bulb and 72 watts of PC actincs... Now it is under 2 250watt MH with 216 watts of T5HOs... Oh yeah my tank is a standard 90 which means it is 24" deep... Here is a pic

Here is a pic of what it looks like now... It has lost it's gold color.

depending on the spectrum and placement it should. move it up closer to the light very slowly(weeks)

You should also get it out of the sand. Crocea's are a boring clam and like it in the rockwork...
